Quick Tip: How to clean your floors without chemicals

I love my laminate wood floors! It’s extremely durable and easy to clean. A couple of months ago, I learned a really fast way to mop my floors. It’s one of those things that makes you think, “Why didn’t I do this before.”

Instead of filling up my basin with water and walking back and forth to rinse my mop, I now have two buckets when I mop. I fill both buckets with 5 quarts of water and add 2 T. vinegar to one bucket. We’ll call the vinegar-added water the clean bucket and the water only one the dirty bucket.

I dip my mop in the clean bucket, ring out the excess and mop a small section of the floor. I rinse the mop in the dirty bucket, ring it out and dip the mop in the clean bucket and continue. This way you always have a clean mop touching the floor.

So simple. Do you have a great quick tip to share for your home?
